Each year, the Chamber of Commerce and their special team of CLUE CREATORS formulate clues to help the community locate the infamous GOLDEN TURTLE!
​
The Golden Turtle is hidden in a secret location on PUBLIC PROPERTY. In the weeks leading up to the Turtle Lake Intercounty Fair in June and July, watch for clues of the Turtle's whereabouts in this website, posted at the Turtle Lake Public Library, on the Village of Turtle Lake Office and Website, and the The Times newspaper!

If you are lucky enough to find the turtle, please bring the little guy to the Village Office to claim your prize!

Hunters beware! The Golden Turtle hides only on Public Property. Since turtles are cautious creatures, they avoid dangerous and hazardous locations; you would never catch a Golden Turtle lurking around the Sewer Plant. Lastly, the Village of Turtle Lake provides such a wonderful habitat for golden turtles that they do not leave the Village limits.
** Weekly Clues will be posted in upcoming issues of The Times and www.turtlelakechamber.com
Additional clues will be posted weekly, again on Friday at 5:00 p.m., at Village Hall and on the TLACC Facebook Page and on this website, if the Golden Turtle has not yet been found.
Hunters, please bring the Golden Turtle to Village Hall to claim your prize, weekdays, 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.**
